The 2007 Shakespeare on Avon Festival Gloucester Recreation Grounds
The Feast
On both Friday and Saturday there will be a Feast served at 6.30pm, which includes a two-course meal. A licensed bar, featuring local and regional wines will open at 5.30pm to further enhance your dining experience. Beer will also be available.
Saturday Matinee patrons will again have the opportunity of attending the Feast.
High School Student Performances.
On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th May performance workshops will be held for High School students. These workshops have always been a feature of the Festival. They give the students an understanding and appreciation of Shakespearean drama. There is a maximum student number for each performance, which is soon filled due to their popularity with local and regional high schools. Early bookings essential.

Concert To The Moon Elysium Vineyard and Cottage
From Elegant Classical to Australia's answer to The Andrews Sisters, with a bit of accoustic guitar and vocals thrown in the blend. You will enjoy an evening of song under the Hunter Valley moonlight, with some of Australia's top up-and-coming talent. Australian Opera Singer Stephanie Acraman performs regularly around Australia and New Zealand for various companies, festivals, and concert halls. She comes directly from her principal role in the Sydney production of DEAD MAN WALKING. Pianist Pip Brandon has split his time between Sydney and the UK for the last ten years, freelancing as an accompanist and repetiteur, and performing aboard the QE - II and QM - II ocean liners. A special treat this evening will be the appearance by The Southern Belles, an exciting three girl group sporting tight harmonies, gorgeous costumes and a striking performance. Gates open at 6pm. Bring a blanket or chair and picnic, and enjoy Elysium's Award Winning Wines, and the beautiful vineyard and garden setting. A full moon has been ordered.
